Abstract: Callispa dimidiatipennis Baly, 1858 is recorded from Guangdong Province of China for the first time. A comprehensive redescription of the species is provided, accompanied by illustrations of diagnostic features. Furthermore, a catalogue of eight Callispa species known from Guangdong and a key to these species are presented.
