Abstract: A new species of Polycaena Staudinger, 1886 from Mt. Balang, W. Sichuan is described, namely P. chenchuani sp. nov. based on morphological characters. The male adult, male genitalia, and diagnoses of the new species, along with a distributional map of P. lua-group, to which the new species belongs, are provided.

摘要：基于形态学特征，本文描述了产自我国四川西部巴郎山的小蚬蝶属Polycaena Staudinger, 1886一新种，即陈川小蚬蝶Polycaena chenchuani sp. nov.。本文提供了该新种的雄性成虫形态、雄外生殖器图和鉴别特征，并附有其所在的露娅小蚬蝶种团P. lua-group的分布图。
