Abstract: A new bristletail species of the genus Pedetontus Silvestri, 1911, Pedetontus (Verhoeffilis) wuhuangensis sp. nov., is described based on male and female specimens collected from Wuhuang Mountain, Guangxi, China. This new species is most similar to P. (V.) shenzhenensis Shen, Yang, Ji & Zhang, 2025 and P. (V.) xanthospilus Shen, Yang, Ji & Zhang, 2025, both of which were reported from southern China. Detailed morphological illustrations and measurements are provided for all diagnostic structures.

摘要：基于在中国广西五皇山的雄性和雌性标本，本文描述了跳蛃属Pedetontus Silvestri, 1911一新种——五皇跳蛃Pedetontus (Verhoeffilis) wuhuangensis sp. nov.。该新种与报道自中国南方的深圳跳蛃P. (V.) shenzhenensis Shen, Yang, Ji & Zhang, 2025和黄斑跳蛃P. (V.) xanthospilus Shen, Yang, Ji & Zhang, 2025最为相似。文中给出了所有鉴别特征的详细形态照片及其测量数据。
